The Adaptation and Resilience ClimAccelerator is a programme designed to support early-stage startups in Tanzania that are developing solutions to tackle climate-related challenges. The accelerator helps these ventures grow, scale and increase their impact by providing mentorship, training, access to networks and resources.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the climate resilience of rural communities and landscapes in Tanzania through collaboration and innovation.

We believe entrepreneurs play a key role in driving innovative climate solutions. That's why the ClimAccelerator is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs to develop businesses that strengthen communities and ecosystems against the impact of the changing climate.

We offer a range of support including business development training, technical assistance, mentorship, financial support and connections to networks of investors and industry experts. The ClimAccelerator helps start-ups refine their business models, enhance their market readiness, and scale their impact.

The Adaptation and Resilience ClimAccelerator will support business solutions that help people living in rural areas prepare for, cope with, or recover from these climate-related impacts. Solutions can include products or services, for example:
